TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) is a nationally recognized program designed to educate those who serve alcohol how to prevent and handle customer intoxication and underage drinking. TIPS has been a global leader in education and training in the responsible service, sale, and consumption of alcohol.
RAMP (Responsible Alcohol Management Program) is state specific to Pennsylvania. RAMP covers the laws you must follow in Pennsylvania according to the policies of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Both programs stress the importance of serving alcohol responsibly. Both programs are designed to prevent customer intoxication and underage drinking.
